Four KJet boats carrying 75 Cure Kids $10 Challenge competitors made an impressive entrance into Queenstown Bay today (October 3), to mark the end of the famous race from Auckland to Queenstown. The $10 Challenge is a major fundraiser for Cure Kids and KJet has been proud to support the event for 10 years.

“KJet has been supporting the Cure Kids $10 Challenge every year since 2005, by transporting contestants on Lake Wakatipu from Frankton Marina to Queenstown Bay for the final leg of the race. We are passionate about supporting such a worthy cause. It’s a great way to end the race and the contestants get such a buzz arriving in central Queenstown by Jet boat. We’ve partially painted three of our boats black to get behind the All Blacks in the Rugby World Cup, so the entrance to Queenstown Bay was pretty spectacular,” KJet Sales and Marketing Manager Ginny Goding says.
